PTFE are also known as TEFLON. It almost covers all the chemical resistance of plastic, including excellent heat resistance, good electrical properties as well as a pretty low coefficient of friction.

PTFE is a very useful material that widely used in bearing pads, gaskets, packing rings, insulators and lots of chemical plant parts. It is also very compatible that can manufactured with carbon, glass and bronze fillers to enhance mechanical properties.

PTFE are available in a number of rod and tube, sheet, skived PTFE tape and etched, and PTFE coated glass cloth is also used for heat sealing applications.
