Bicast Leather and Bonded Leather are not true leathers, but contain leather material. Bicast Leathers contain some amount of leather and are commonly marketed as leather. Bonded Leathers are composed of ninety percent to hundred percent leather fibers bonded together with latex binders to create a look and feel similar to that of genuine leather.
Most leathers are made out of cowhides, however Lambskins are used for soft leather in expensive apparels. Kangaroo leathers are also used to make strong but flexible motorcycle gloves.
